ISSUE 18-10
Dragonfly’s Garden
We have discovered a mistake in the cutting and third border assembly instructions for Dragonfly’s Garden by Deb Doherty in APQ 18-10. The instructions should be as follows.
Cutting instructions-
From the cream tone-on-tone with gold dragonfly print, cut:
-Two 3 ¾in strips and crosscut 20, 3 ¾in squares, then cut them on both diagonals to yield 80 quarter-square triangles for the third border.
From the light pink dragonfly print, cut:
-Two 3 ¾in strips and crosscut 24, 3 ¾in squares, then cut them on both diagonals to yield 96 quarter-square triangles for the third border.
Third Border (Seminole)
(2nd paragraph)
Referring to diagram 6, stitch a 3 ¾in cream tone-on-tone with gold dragonfly print quarter-square triangle to the green end of each segment and a 3 ¾in light pink dragonfly print quarter-square triangle to the blue end, ensuring they are all oriented as shown.
Corner units
Make four triangular corner units as shown in diagram 7, using one 2 ¼in lime green tone-on-tone fabric square, two large-scale floral print squares, three medium blue fossil fern print squares and four 3 ¾in light pink dragonfly print quarter-square triangles.
From this point continue instructions as printed.

issue 11/8
The AP&Q team takes a lot of care to ensure project instructions are correct. Sometimes errors and omissions do occur. For example, part of the appliqué design from Calling All Angels by Keryn Beischer from AP&Q 11/8 was missing from the pattern sheet. PDFs of the shapes may be downloaded below:

Calling All Angels Page 2 (pdf - 76kbs)
